Who are we looking for

Our marketing and communication team is looking for a proactive and reliable Communications Specialist who’s up for a dynamic role - a mix of institutional communication, content creation, and hands-on marketing.

This role puts you in charge of the institutional communication of KInIT, and you’ll work in a space where marketing fuses with science - far from traditional commercial advertising.

You’ll help tell the stories of our people, research, and achievements, making complex topics understandable without compromising scientific quality. If you also enjoy shooting and editing videos, you’ll have space to put those skills to use.

Since we’re a top-level technological institute and a team of curious, like-minded individuals, we always strive for more. You’ll be part of that by bringing fresh ideas to the table and helping us tell our story in an engaging way.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience (mid level) in marketing and communication

  • Experience briefing graphic designers and reviewing visuals with great attention to detail

  • Copywriting skills - a feel for writing engaging, easy-to-understand copy for different audiences and channels

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing analytics

  • Experience with filming and video postproduction is a strong advantage - from capturing interviews and event footage to editing short videos, adding subtitles, and preparing them for social media

  • Photography skills are welcome

  • Respect for deadlines without sacrificing quality

  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects

  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work independently

  • Strong communication skills in both Slovak and English

Why join us?

  • At KInIT, you’ll work on projects that really matter. We bring together tech, society and science, and we’re passionate about doing things with purpose. You’ll have space to bring new ideas, learn as you go, and grow your role.

  • We’re a team of professionals that values honesty, curiosity, and creative thinking, and we support each other along the way.
